Walk in shower install cost — Chicago, IL

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you start planning a walk-in shower, the final price depends on a few specific variables. The size of your existing space is the biggest factor, as moving plumbing lines or expanding the footprint requires more labor. You also have choices regarding materials, like custom tile work versus acrylic wall systems, and the type of fixtures or safety features you select. Glass enclosures, custom shelving, and accessibility additions like grab bars or built-in seating will also impact the total. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.
